If you missed my Facebook Home Buying Seminar, here’s an opportunity to view the recorded session on YouTube.
This was geared towards new home buyers considering their home purchase. Since realty is a constant changing market, the information shared here is pertinent to experienced home buyers and investors as well.
We’ve experienced an anomaly when it comes to the housing market this year. Many small businesses felt the financial impact of the pandemic lockdown. While recessions usually effect realty negatively, the opposite has been happening across the nation. The motto, “location, location, location,” retains less power as more and more people work from home virtually. We are seeing a shift in how people are working, schooling, and living their lives. Across the country, people are seeking homes where they desire their best life happening, rather than taking into account their daily commute.
The lockdown was a shock to many of our systems, but we are resilient and adaptable. In 2019, we saw a huge seller’s market. In 2020, predictions were that rates would go up and the market boom would slow down. Not true, although we experienced less inventory, sales were up in many parts of the country. Let’s take a look at the Prince William County area for starters.
Many new home buyers don’t understand where to begin. In my Home Buying Seminar, I break down the essential moving parts of the home buying process. From the initial relationships with a realtor and lender, to the actual transaction, and down to closing, each step is identified with clear guidelines.
As always, I am available for any detailed questions, referrals, listing consultations in Northern VA, and home buying advice.
Have a Happy November.
